Terrarium Parties: (Adults and kids) Terrariums are all the rage these days. For the party we will make terrariums for sun or shade using succulents, plants or moss. Each guest takes their creation home. We supply the jars, dirt, plants and even miniature creature figurines to inhabit your terrarium. Guests are invited to bring their own glass container to plant, if they'd like. The event last for about two hours. Cost for this party starts at $35 per person, minimum 8 guests.
Wreath Parties: (Adults and kids) These days it's pretty easy to buy a door-hanging wreath for just about any occasion. Making your own wreath is fun, easy and we have all the ingredients to make yours truly special. We start with a basic foundation and add marvelous ornaments, found objects and flora. We can incorporate party themes into wreaths, too: Chesapeake, holiday, butterfly, etc. Prices for this party start at $35 per person, minimum 10 guests.
Re-purposed Silverplate: What'sin your cabinet? When was the last time you used the chafing dish that was a Free Gift with Purchase from Macy's? Re-purposing silverplate into indoor or outdoor floral arrangements makes perfect sense. We prefer to use succulents for these containers because the pinks, greens, grays and icy blues complement the silver ever so nicely. If you have your own silverplate to plant, the party is priced differently but we'll bring ours and will even drill drainage holes in the bottoms of outdoor-destined silver. Outdoor Autumn Theme Containers: Okay, there's nothing wrong with simply plopping a mum into a container and calling it a day. Yet, it could be so much more! At this plant party we'll make some real show-stoppers that will truly put you in the spirit of fall - foggy mornings, pumpkins arriving at the fruit stands, crisp, turning leaves and freshly harvested apples. These containers will look great next to the front door with a bale of hay and a few pumpkins. We will bring containers, soil, plants and enthusiastic know-how. At least 5 guests for this event is suggested. The more the merrier. This party is best held out of doors, but we can accommodate indoor events as well. Cost for this party averages at around $50 per person.
Rain Garden Parties: (Adults and kids 10 and up) If you'd like to celebrate an event by giving a gift to the Chesapeake Bay, throw a Rain Garden Party. Prior to the party we'll help you plan out a small rain garden (about 10x10) and what you'll need to prepare for the event. On the day of the event, we'll bring rain garden plants, materials, tools and know-how. These parties are limited to fine-weather days but there is no additional cost for having to reschedule due to inclement weather. Cost for this party starts at around $500 for the complete package. The event typically lasts from 1/2 to an entire day and there is a suggested 10 guest minimum.
